Why do you have to hand it to them down the road?? Its a song from a Scottish film written by a man born in Scotland!!!

Have they annexed Scotland like they did Gateshead
They latched onto it and have kept it for years, Sunderland have changed theirs time and time again: Z-Cars - good but I believe it's a Merseyside folk song, We Will Rock You - cringeworthy because they rarely did, Ready to Go - the best one IMO, Elevation - rhythmes with relegation, Beginning of the Twist -OK.

Going home seems to be associated with the Great North Run for some reason.

We could always claim Alex Kapranos and Emeli Sande back from Scotland.

Top writer and player who seemed to regress a bit in later life to a geordie folk singer
My favourite guitarist. Telegraph Road, Skateaway and Tunnel of Love are hardly played on the radio.

Got to hand it to that lot down the road, Going Home is a top piece.
How long they are is a factor
