They've been a shit load of foreign managers come and gone in the premier league a lot worse than him..

Boro hopefully. Although I’d fancy Pulis to keep them there should they go up.

Pulis will get Boro lower-mid table in the Prem then after a few seasons their 7 fans will moan about the “style of football”, sack him and get relegated. Some of their fans even now are moaning for fucks sake.

Aye

Was linked to us one time would we be where we are had we taken him on ?

I’d probably say yes actually. Admittedly he started off alright at Stoke but the quality of the players he signed there there’s no way they should have been relegated. He was the catalyst imo.

Good record at Blackburn, unlucky at Man City. A great player who is willing to have a go at management.
This is how he keeps getting jobs in football. A bit like Moyes they have a good record at one club so chairmen think they can recreate it at theirs. Even though he's struggled at his last couple of jobs there's always going to be a chairman/owner desperate and arrogant enough to think they were just blips.

He’s a forrin manager himself.

Plus if he was Mark Hughes-Welsh International whose playing career had been spent at Newport-Cardiff-Southampton-Blackburn-Ipswich and Colchester he wouldn’t of been given half the opportunities he has been. There’s always an owner wanting a bit of reflected Man Utd glory, just a glance at the managerial careers of Robson, Bruce, Strachan, Ince etc proves that.
