Has had some mental lumps on his face. General consensus was it was a reaction to meds’ he was on. Cancelled a US tour recently on the grounds of dental issues.
Recently split up with the lovely Elenor. Ex wife and now ex Fall member.

Tbf they haven't done that many gigs this year and apparently he's still writing while he's laid up. I agree though he needs to stop altogether until he's better, unless he to keep on doing it for financial reasons, in that case its a bit sad and worrying

Nobody comes close to him as a lyricist though. Especially the early stuff, he'd have more wit, intelligence and invention in one song than most of his peers could manage over a full album

Nowhere near. Especially Sumner, who has admitted himself that his lyrics come right at the very end of the recording process, practically just before the recording gets sent to be pressed and packaged
