Marcus Maddison to Bolton?

Seems to be having a not too dissimilar career trajectory to Sean Thornton (albeit at a slightly lower level).

must be something clearly amiss with the lad as he is clearly a talented player

the probem i always had wth him was..whil he created and scored at peterborigh..they ar a team that score lost ad concede lots, or were when he was there..implng his stats were flattered by being in such a keegan-esqu team..
and there woldnt have been an obligaton to track back..

You know the season Newcastle came second, they act had the fifth best defence in the league? Just looking through the results of that season and it's all quite run of the mill, lots of 1-0, 2-0, 2-1 as you'd expect. In fact, there's a 3-3 Vs Man City, a 6-1 with Wimbledon and the infamous 4-3 Vs Liverpool but nothing else stands out.

In fact, I've just checked Peterborough's stats from our first season in league one and you're right that they concede alot but they actually scored very few. They finished seventh and every team above them scored more. We scored nine more, for example.

As you all know Williams is made of glass , his contributions on the pitch have been limited in the last year. Nice guy but you can't rely on him , contract expires in the summer. Maddison is a bad egg , unpopular with the other players and Bowyer wanted him out of the club. We signed Matt Smith today , not the old Doctor Who but an Arsenal youngster who had been on loan at Swindon.

did the crve ater over the season? e after asprilla came in did they concede more?

people on here were callbg our owner and DOF all sorts becaus they woulddnt pay the 2.5m the scrote thatowns peterborough wanted...
the peterborouh guy was trying to set safc fans aganst the chairan so he could sel madson for way more than he is worth..

some fell for it.
