I agreeAs we didn't have to agree to send him back I would think it is a strong likelihood that we were paid handsomely for our co-operation, and/or another player will be loaned to us tomorrow at a cut price
I'm sure if we'd seen enough in training that he was going to become first choice sooner rather than later then we'd have kept hold of him and sure we're confident of finding a replacement.
Finding a striker is something we've consistently struggled with so interested to see what business we can get done.
I think the return deal will include them sorting us out with a defender or winger as we will use the compo they give us to sign BrobbeyThink they must be giving us something in return and I also don’t think he’d go unless we’ve a replacement close. Brobbey seems to be close
I just think the player asked Chelsea to take him back. If he was happy here he would have said so. Could be some issues with leaving London? I'm just speculating but it seems really weird to me.I agree
YesHe definitely gone then?
You're talking like it was our idea. Chelsea want him back and have probably coughed up a few quid as a sweetener. Doesn't do us any favours at all, as it adds another type of player onto the wanted list with not a lot of time to get things sortedProbably hasn’t shown enough in training to suggest he’s going to be anything more than 3rd choice here. We are looking for a different profile of striker who can come in and and put some pressure on Mayenda and Isidor. Sounds like a move that suites all parties, providing he’s replaced!
Yeah looks a mile off being able to significantly contribute for us. He might come good but it is likely to be the second half of the season and we aren't in a position to wait for that.Looks flat footed and cumbersome to me, slow off the mark too, strange one all round this one
Assuming he plays a game for them he won't be able to I don't think. He'll fall into the 2 teams per season rule.then they loan em back out in the winter window imo
This. Not bothered he has gone back, really don't think he'd have been the striker we need.Looks flat footed and cumbersome to me, slow off the mark too, strange one all round this one
I think that will only be the case if Chelsea have told him first he’d go back & get some minutes immediately. Chelsea’s gained financially from loaning him to us & sounds like they’re going to compensate us financially to get him back. They’ll not be doing that cos he’s not fancied it after a couple of matches.I just think the player asked Chelsea to take him back. If he was happy here he would have said so. Could be some issues with leaving London? I'm just speculating but it seems really weird to me.
