He's a keeper. He's hardly going to be jumping for joy when the bloke between the sticks is doing a good job. I'd want him to be pissed off and prove the manager wrong rather than thinking "f**k I'm so much worse than that bloke."
 
Pantilimon is a very good keeper, Mannone had a good season, but time to recirculate. Think we should bring another in. I haven't seen too much of Pickford, bu would be a huge risk having him as a number 2 at his age in the Premier League.

Fair enough. Mind Cech definitely has a 3 year deal in him at the top level and Begovic has been proven for years.

Pants big season is next year. Goes into it as #1 and will have a full season at it. See how he copes with the ups and downs.

If we had 10 outfielders of his standard we'd be comfortably top half. Last position we need a replacement.

I can only go from evidence I have witnessed this season and he has been superb.
