I’m sure Jack will be having a conversation with him tonight, prior to team selection and I’m sure he might just mention the current situation.
It might just be whats needed now a cool headed conversation.
You could well be right, I think if there is to be a u turn it has to be the next 24 hours, but personally I think his agent informing sky sports of the news told us all everything about this sorry saga and the intent of the Maja camp.

someone made a good point there on the phone in ,

what if he gets a serious injury anytime soon ?

It’s a risk on his part to wait till the end of the season

Perhaps his agent got the hump with the club going public about the deadline. Safc backed them into a corner by going public, agent thinks ‘fuck it, I’ll show them’. A bold move by Donald, but it’s not gone very well has it?

or the club who have face to face discussions with these people and can look into the whites of their eyes and knew they were taking the piss..

What is more important to us now? His goals for the rest of this season or getting paid for him?

If we don't sell him and he continues to score and we go up, no problem. If we sell and get a fee, but don't have anyone that can produce, we might not promote...I know which one I'd rather see.

Donald has messed up big time here he lives his life on twitter so cant complain when social media bites him on the arse .Backing Maja into a corner was stupid and unprofessional

All of which is irrelevant when the agent has said “we want X” and Sunderland have said “ok, you can have X no problem”.

What if x was what we simply couldn't afford. Maja will know what his mate at Swansea is on and maybe fancies being on the same. An amount at this current is beyond us.

Which is why if he plays he will be shit scared of given 100% for fear of injury, which is why I never want to see him play for us again.

I think he’ll play tomorrow and a small but vocal and audible section of our fans will boo him. If he is genuinely undecided that would help make up his mind....
