Then sign his contract, he’s a grown man and can do what he likes, we’ve had players hiding behind agents far too much in the past few years. He’s just playing the game.

We may need to accept we could potentially miss out on some players in the future that could win us promotion etc and bite the bullet. Patience will be needed with such a strategy. I think he needs to find the right balance, Sunderland is not Eastleigh.

We offered exactly what he wanted!! How is this not a bad faith negotiation on this agents part? Why should SAFC deal with this agent ever again?? It’s not like we’re in a tough negotiation and still getting our man...we’re dealing with dishonesty. This isn’t Neymar, Messi or Rinaldo ...it’s some fuckin kid in League 1. It’s totally unnecessary.

Donald tweeted earlier to say Maja took Ross to one side yesterday and told him he wants to sign the contract. Donald then got a call today from Sky to tell him Maja isn’t signing the deal. Donald said he will try and change his mind.

Said the same for ages, there's no need for them anyway the PFA will represent players if it's a necessity, they could have an agent for outside sponsorship etc but they should have nothing to do with contract situations, just ban them.

I don’t know the ins and outs, just my opinion from afar. I would like to see us get the best players in red &’white shirts we can onto the pitch. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose, it’s a fine balance. This one we lost.

i know he wants to be open will have had loads of fans messaging him today but SD really should of kept quiet with that little snippet. Maja will likely get pelters now if he remains involved with the team

That ‘try and change his mind’ definitely sounds like an extension to this so called deadline to me.

Cheers mate. I've only quickly read the last couple of pages. I thought a bid had been accepted or something! So nowts changed?
 
We really need to keep him until the end of the season for his goals. Interesting to see how the fans will react.
