Josh Maja update. Yesterday Josh asked to see Jack to say he will sign. Today I got a call from Sky TV saying he won't sign. Josh advised his agent has said don't sign but no courtesy to tell the club - Also we offered what the agent indicated!!! Busy January ahead

Absolutely bizarre like, why bother specifically meeting with JR to say he wants to stay? Sounds very final, anyway.

That may be the case but the club have given maja and his agent everything they've asked for and he's still advising Maja not to sign - as far as i'm concerned that is a kernts trick and the club are right to go public and fuck him off. Other clubs may see that and think "fuck that we aint dealing with this twat of an agent"

agents dont give a fuck..its a money thing..they sill be back next week if sunderland is the best deal for another of his clients

It was already out, Sky were calling him for comment and the media being what they are they would have just printed a load of shite. Why on earth wouldnt he make sure OUR side of the story was in play rather than be vilified by the agents shit house games.

The podcasts were great, interaction with fans on any kind of issue is great. Constantly commenting on transfer rumours and then coming out with this is embarrassing.

to be honest, at least everyone now knows the situation. Time for Maja to get a taste of the grown up world where you have to start dealing with the consequences of your decisions. Hes going to have to find a new club now where he wont get the tolerance he gets here (how is Asoro getting on?).
its a shame for us and the lad, as clearly he is a work in progress and if he keeps doing what hes doing the big rewards will inevitably follow, but IMO hes not ready for a step up in level and needs much more game time at this level to develop physically and improve his overall play.

I don’t, he can fuck off for me. Hope he doesn’t play again until he signs. The fans have been behind him since he made his debut, it’s him that needs to grow a set of balls and fuck off his agent.
