Exactly everyone would have been asking for the club or someone to say something if Donald didn’t

Donald has just informed fans exactly what’s happened yes he may have done it through anger but everyone else should also be angry we have a player who wants to stay but won’t

I support the club, I couldn’t give a fuck about the owner other than I think he has the clubs best interests at heart.

i agree with this.
I said months ago that his informality on twitter would bite him on the arse at some stage. I get the need to put out some comms highlighting the actual truth for fans but hes done it very unprofessionally in my mind. And will also get loads of emotional idiots trolling him now as well.

I'm nee fan on Donald talking as much on twitter but you speak the truth. The agent is the biggest (alleged) problem in all of this and

Me neither. People will criticise whether SD tries to explain what’s going on or whether he keeps quiet. I’d rather know.
It’s a murky business but players in 99% of situations put their finances/career first. What is frustrating is that Maja’s career and future earning power would almost certainly be enhanced by staying at Sunderland.
It’s like Big Sam leaving: wrong decision for him and us.

Like I said earlier, if Maja left without an explanation Donald would have been slaughtered. We would all be on here questioning the clubs ambition. Look at the Bent situation.
