So what would you have done? You'd prefer someone behaving like Ridsdale at Leeds, and coming in with opening offer to players that were twice what they were expecting? I have no problems with Donald using Twitter to spike fake news, because that's the only way he can be sure what he wants to get out won't be subject to the same distortion as the original story. The only villain here is Keven Hunt.

Oh, and I've never claimed to be a "top financial expert". I'm just someone with a professional qualification who tries to explain things that aren't necessarily obvious to non-accountants.

If he'd remained silent it wouldn't have affected what the agent's said to Sky. This would be News and an Issue whether or not our owner had chipped in, only now Maja's less likely to be booed off the park.

I’m backing the club 100%...Maja had all the leverage, there was no need for his agent to fuck around with the club. Aren’t people, particularly SAFC fans sick of seeing this year in and year out? Just come to the table and honestly negotiate...it’s almost fuckin laughable that this sort of shit is happening in League 1 with @15k in wages...it’s a fuckin disgrace by this agent.

swhats he worth and what was the offer? was he on 2k and we offered him 14k? 3k and we offered 21k? i have no idea but neither di you..we offered rthe player the money he wanted therefore money isnt the issue..

I've saw rumours of £600/wk. Seems mental if that's what he was on but it's irrelevant. He has been offered what he asked for.

I think there was always going to be some difficulty to play Maja once it became known he's not signing.......don't see how Donald has affected that,given that Sky are making it common knowledge.
What longer term difficulty is there?
