Not likely. All that needed to be said if anything was that we've offered Josh a good deal and along with his representation they've decided to decline. We'll do everything we feel we can to resolve this with the player without compromising our wage structure.

Instead of that we've now got an owner who is building a reputation for constantly slating agents. When it comes to future transfer targets do you think agents are likely to react kindly to attention from Sunderland if they know they'll potentially get called out directly from Donald?

If they deserve to be called out then fuck em. Any decent agent will not mind one bit speaking with him.

Sorry like but there is an inbetween what Short was doing and this, we are Sunderland not eastleigh ffs.
we are a lague one club..stewrat has run one of those before.
man city are about to lose one of their best academy players..arsenal have lost several..it happens..what short was doing was selling them without telling us..

So what's the crack?

Club offers Maja a contract that meets his agent's demands.

Yesterday Maja goes to see Ross telling him he wants to sign.

Today Donald gets a phone call from Sky telling him that Maja's agent has just contacted them to say that Maja won't sign.

-the piss taking party ended in the summer. Either sign or sling ya hook.

This is such the wrong atttitude its untrue, he has been playing well he got us 4 points last week, despite knowing he was ooff

he isn't a parasite

We aren't going to the win the league with a bunch of Luke O'Niens playing, we need quality.

You seem to learn nothing

They offered what the agent wanted, what more do you think the owners should have done?

He knew he was off yet told Ross yesterday he was signing?

We also need players who want to be here, if Maja does then he’ll sign

This agent already went behind our backs to Sky, it's not like it would be possible to make them treat the club worse than they've always done. If it puts shithouse agents off from dealing with us, good!

Are you taking the piss?

You can't be serious with that post?

The defensive nature from some of the "wums" on here is f***ing embarrassing

the owners have clearly started well, but this is poor, and the tweets are quite frankly embarrassing to a club like Sunderland, wouldn't be surprosed if he deleted them

You are turning into a mag with a messiah complex, not everything they do will be right, and this clearly isn't right

now jog on

you have the agenda.

No I wouldn't

He shouldn't be tweeting stuff like that, its as simple as that, you know that really, you just want an argument.

No he doesn't

How is he making things difficult?

He’s contributed towards a narrative about Maja now. Ross probably would have wanted to start Maja tomorrow. Now he has a more difficult decision to make.

That’s just the short term difficulty

yes indeed they do...but until they do you cant know its going to hapopen.
the next steps then are:
JR doesnt have the authoruty to physically sign the contract omn sunderland's behalf..so he tells the hcaorman.
the chairman gets the awyers to draw up the agreement.
the agreemnt copies are sent to steaart and the agent and maja.
thats hours of work..therw wouldnt have been anything for him to sign yesterday.
Did you have a stroke while typing mate?

Huddersfield, Palace and Cardiff are all interested, with the player's contract is up in the summer. Wonder what sort of reception he'll get at the SOL next season
Hopefully the same reception Milner and Sturridge recieved at the Etihad last night. Don’t see them clapping former players like our fans do.
