Why on earth would they?

Why wouldn't they? got an unreal deal, if it a few mill, it would mean any fees we get could be put into the team

I am failing to see what money they ahve actually put into the club apart from what they paid short to buy it?

Because that is not how businesses are ran, especially so in football clubs at our level/state.

If you run like a league one business, then we will never get out of the league

I am sorry but Idon't agree with their statement there, I am disapointed.

What happened to the 8 million we got for Khazri then?

All the usual sources (RR, Phil smith) tweeting the story about how the fee won't actually go into the coffers. Almost the second after safc.com announced the deal.
Seems too synchronised to be pure speculation.

Very in sync.......

They’re aiming to run the club in a self financing way. They’ve always said that. They’re not billionaires who have this as a play thing

What has billionaires as a play thing got to do with it?\

I am talking about any sort of funding, literally any investment into the club. If you get a club as big as sunderland on the cheap with no debt and players to sell, you'd expect some of the money to go back into the playing side. Its not an unreasonable ask.

If we don’t run it within our means, it could have a detrimental affect on our long term future, we would quickly get out of league one that way. Also your statement about never getting out of league one is ridiculous. It is about spending wisely not for the sake of posters on a message board. Posters who thought this was easy short term fix are deluded to fuck.

3 strikers gone this window, we need 2 in now, hopefully not L1 journeymen. Think @Johnsafc was correct, said the owners wanted to sell or they wouldn't have given him a deadline. We should have just kept him until the end of the season.

Its not a coincidence he has gone to bordeux and they have been able to settle this debt like

disappointed in that don't think they've been truthful about the whole thing/

They’re running it as club that finances itself. I’m repeating myself.

They’re not fabulously wealthy that they can afford to fritter a few million away to make you happy. They’re balancing the books of the club.

Spending for the sake of it? Mate we've got 1 striker.
