Aye, and he's really good at it isn't he?

Have those parisitic fans left the pub, to watch the game at the stadium yet?

And are you trying to say he inspects people's crotches?

There was loads of them on Boxing Day and a couple of thousand more than normal for Shrewsbury.

We took 6k to Blackpool and outnumbered the home fans.

I’d say aye, as a commercial team him and Tony Davidson have done alright.

Sky broke it first, SD then clarified a few points.
Not quite. Sky contacted Donald for his comments after the agent had contacted them saying that Maja wasn't signing. Donald then broke the news giving our side of the story just before Sky published the story that the agent had given them.

I would love Maja to stay but like lots on here have said he’s not the finished article. He might do well in the Championship but he’s not Premier League class yet.
So if he’s not going to get a move to the Premier League then from a career point of view I don’t see how he gains by moving away from us.
We will ,hopefully, be in the championship next year and be one of the biggest teams in the division.
Even the bottom half of the Premier League teams wouldn’t really be any advantage to his career.
If he moves it got to be purely down to the money.
If that’s the case as Roy used to say ‘we move on’.

yes sky contacte stewart but they didnt contact him live on air..they hadnt broadcast it,..they contacted him before broadvcast..so he tweeted out befopre they rboadcast..so he got the news out first, your order i exactly correct and we completely asgree.
it doesn't matter if it was broadcast or not, the order of contact is the factually correct one

I get the logic, but imagine getting to the play off final, and him missing a penalty v Charlton say, we lose, then it's announced he s moving to newly promoted Charlton in the summer. FECK THAT FOR A GAME OF SOLDIERS!!!!!
not penalties with Charlton again. my heart wont take it

If he plays today he’s part of the team. Do you really think that booing him will not have an effect on the team as a whole?
We’ve praised the team spirit this season so let’s show the team we appreciate that, there will be enough time to slag the lad off when or if he moves on.
Don’t forget if we undermine the team in this way it won’t impact Maja if he’s at another team come the end of the window but it will certainly impact us.

He's right to be fair, Maja does well against slow league one defenders, he won't get as much time on the ball in higher divisions. Think he will struggle tbh, he's still improving, but right now, he needs to be playing in League One to keep developing IMO

Gutted he's away as well. We never have any luck with strikers

Not convinced that is totally true tbf. It's not often he needs time on the ball. The majority are 1 and 2 touch finishes from him finding space. The Charlton, Peterborough and Bristol ones likely wouldn't have been scored with better defenders (with regards to his involvement). Obviously better defenders many have stopped the original assist/build up play etc.

Goals this season:

Charlton - 5 touches
Luton - 2
Scunthorpe - 2
Gillingham - 2
Fleetwood - 1
Rochdale - 2
Rochdale - 1
Peterborough - 5
Bradford - 1
Wycombe - 2
Barnsley - 3
Shrewsbury -1
Blackpool - 1
Bristol - 5

In the starting lineup.

If Maja gets on the pitch and gives his all, battling for balls, headers and doing what he does best, the crowd will back him. Should he play, head down, lacking in effort because of embarrassment, the crowd will, justifiably, get on his back like they would for any other player.
He doesn't battle anyway

If he goes a couple of games without a goal then it's inevitable people will get on his back and start trotting out the 'he doesnt care' comments given how little he puts his foot in and challenges defenders.
It's a difficult one to tell because he is so laid back and a bit soft if it was Gooch, Wyke or someone it would be easy to tell lack of effort.

I don’t think he will be booed straight away, an indifferent performance from him and a poor result for the team might change that however.

Without reading 150 pages, I’m assuming somebody has mentioned how utterly ridiculous Jack Ross’s comments were declaring even if you don’t sign the contract we’ll still play you? At that point Maja was laughing, there was no downside to not signing.

He will be missing out on £10k a week for 6 months if he ends up staying - that’s a bit of a downside is it not ?

So if he stays without signing you consider not playing him to be a decent option for the Club ?
Selling him would be the better option but of course that all depends on what people offer. I’d have probably had him on the bench today and see if anything happens next week.

So drop him for no other reason that we may or may not receive an acceptable offer in the next week. He’s our top scorer and regular match winner. What is the point of leaving him out of the side ? There is no benefit in leaving him out I can think of.
