The longer this goes on the more detremental it will be to our promotion push.We need stability.
He wants away so i hope he goes quickly and we get a replacement in.
The squad and the club need are more important.
We have other good forwards and although he will be a loss at this level our others can cope .Wyke will score goals in a different manner. We need to adapt and move on quickly so it dosnt become an excuse for a dip in overall results.

Great, pleased for you. Not sure how that benefits the team though.

We’ve gone from an era where all we could do was make assumptions because no information was forthcoming. If I’m going to criticise either the owners or individual players I’d rather do it from a position of knowledge.

In this case there’s no blame to apportion as the club made the player a very generous offer but the player (or his agent) think they can do better elsewhere. Good luck to the lad....he’s not as good as people think he is and £10k/week was a very generous offer.

Personally I wouldn’t play him again this season (if he stays) and concentrate on players who actually want to be here or want to come here. It’s taken a long time to arrive st this point with our club where the owners, manager and players are honest and it’s a quality I’d like to see remain.

He’s not as good as people think?

He’s a natural goal scorer and they’re hard to come by. At 20 years old, in his first proper season as a first team regular, I think the praise he’s had is justified.

I’d be absolutely gutted if he left.

no donald sent a tweet minutes before sky announced it..thats why he tweeted..

did sd not say he had been contacted by sky, so therefore he would have been told, they were about to break the news.

so its still agent telling sky, sky contacting sd. sd tweeting

can be no other order

yes sky contacte stewart but they didnt contact him live on air..they hadnt broadcast it,..they contacted him before broadvcast..so he tweeted out befopre they rboadcast..so he got the news out first, your order i exactly correct and we completely asgree.

I would love Maja to change his mind (hope they took a copy of the contract with them just in case). It appears his agent has been a sh*t from what has come to light. The club needs to do what is best for the club, if that means continuing to play him to go for automatic promotion or selling quickly and getting a replacement then so be it.

Really hope I'm wrong but if he goes in January we can forget going up automatically IMO

It’s not a great situation. No one is happy I’m sure but unfortunately that’s football. I’m not sure what else could be done.
Perhaps we need to just wait and see what the club can do?
Im not pissed off at the club at all.Pissed off at him and his agent

he has done irt at league one level only...

I agree it’s a cracking deal. I’m just not sure SD should be trying to make himself look good as his primary driver. At least that’s how I’m interpreting this. I think the way he’s handled it has heaped a load of pressure on Maja, who I also think has handled this poorly. And his agent can get fucked as well !!

could be he is trying to get the truth out in the open. no doubt about it, the agent is twisting to turn to his advantage
