Notts need 424 just to not follow-on its going to be difficult
Sorry, I hopefully knocked 100 off their target
Your'e right that's a tall order, but to be fair if they get there, they almost certainly draw.

Somerset doing fuckall without Tresco again!
I don't want to even think about a follow-on, lots of scoreboard pressure on Notts currently but if they can get to 424 you'd feel it would be more or less at Close tomorrow - which wouldn't leave a lot of time for Warks to engineer a win.
As for Hampshire, I really think they need to get somewhere near parity. Lots of time left there, we know how Aigburth can play on Day 4 and in 4th innings.....
Edit: Close at Edgbaston: Notts 86-1. Trail by 488 (need 338 to avoid follow-on) and Hales is 52* - I've said it before, that Hales is a player mind!
If Durham don't win it by minor points, it goes back to the innings declaration against Hampshire that'd seen us with at least the 3 extra points for the draw.
You hop off to the Bahamas for a month on August 31st?Beautiful weather at the moment innit

I'd agree with them sentiments. We stood to gain more than we stood to lose. For me the defeat at home to Sussex will be the main reason for us missing out. The way we batted in the 2nd innings there whilst setting a target was embarrassing.
Bowling first at Taunton wasn't a good idea either.

never did anything b4 his test retirment either
Have they announced whether he'll be fit for the county game next week? Because we could really do with him getting some big runs against Lancs.
Yes, but I'd also think the odds are against one of them winning twice too, which puts us right back in it.I'd be amazed if one of these don't win tbh
Out for season innit
