Now the twatfest T20 game is over attention can turn to a real game of cricket. The visit of Sussex to Gods Country.

As has been discussed elsewhere they will be (likely) without Joyce, Prior, Jordan and Anyon.

For us I'd guess at the same lineup that beat Lancashire. Don't think any of the bowlers who missed it will be fit.

Monty has 319 more FC wickets at an average of nearly 31 compared to tredwells of nearly 36

He's also played 49 more tests(and 161 wickets), so how on earth is tredwell better?

Monty actually has a fifer for Essex against worcs this season. Whereas tredwell does not.

Disappointed Arshad isnt involved.

No need to have a middle order batsman coming in at 7 then Mustard 8 then 2 allrounders below him.

I'd have gone;

Stoneman; Jennings; Borthwick; Richardson; Stokes; Colly; Mustard; Hastings; Arshad; Coughlin; Rushy

But heyho, they may feel there is only so much RFM you need in a side. A frontline spinner would have balanced that side really nicely.
