Is the decision to drop Jennings based on form or injury?

If it's on from then it's harsh. Richo must also be upset looking at that side as well.

Currently 41-1. (11 overs)

Hales lbw Onions 2.

Cowan is 37 not out from 40 balls.

Edit - Cowan c Smith b Onions 40. Now 44-2.

:-d

Edit of Edit - :-D

Also, Breese has come on first page.

Well I'm not cleaning it up.

I'm blaming 'AutoCorrect' for that one but fuck knows what I pressed to make change into page

87-3.

Lumb lbw b Stokes 9. After sending down three overs of dross, Stokes managed to trap Lumb infront.

Patel c Borthwick b Stokes 17. That's Lunch. 98-4. :-D

Stokes has dropped two catches today. Cowan (costing a further 36 runs) and Mullaney (so far worth 18 runs).

Partnership of 111 comes to an end with Woody's first ball after Lunch. 209-5 should've been 111-5 like........

Mullaney c Breese b Wood 80.

Stoneman needs to make sure he doesnt give it away after such a good start

Spoke too soon :-(. Mind by all accounts he got a shooter.

Notts slightly ahead at the moment I'd say. Don't really know what to make of that Nightwatchman decision. Granted Rushworth survived but you'd expect he won't hang around tomorrow - then comes the question of who comes in next.

Stokes apparently admitted to four drops in that innings, taken from Marty's end of play report. Smith's drop was allegedly more a good stop than a drop but all told Marty reckons 149 runs were added as a result of those drops. The key one for me was definitely the Mullaney one though. He added a further 74, but perhaps more significant was the stat that a potential 111-5 became 209-5.

Hopefully we can profit from a bit of luck ourselves, although going off the commentary - Rocky certainly didn't get any. He got a shooter to fall in the penultimate over of the day, meaning Nottinghamshire probably just have the edge at Stumps.

Tomorrow is a big day for Smith and Stokes IMO, both could do with a big knock and its arguable that Benks and Colly could use some runs too. Be excellent if Rushy could frustrate them for an hour or so mind

I've just got back from Notts and got to say I think that score would only be the equivalent of about 220 at the Riverside. Lightening fast outfield and decent track, although Rocky was unlucky to get one that skidded on to him a bit low.

If we can put on decent partnerships we should be able to get up around the Notts score, especially if Broad bowls like he did in his first 3 overs, he left the field early with a badly bruised ego.

Rushy should bat like he's last man again, stop the straight ones and put the bat through anything not hitting the stumps, it's going to fly off the bat and guaranteed a boundary if it beats the fielder.
