If we don't win this from here (weather permitting) then we don't deserve to win it.

We've given ourselves the best possible chance.
It would be a record chase at CLS so very embarrssing if we lose to a side that hasn't got over 330 this season.

Northants probably going to lose by an innings after posting 312 in there first innings.

Certs for relegation and very annoying we couldn't get that final wicket against them.

Davies lbw b Rushworth 18. 41-2 GERRRRRRIN!!!!

Lancashire require a further 299 runs to win, with 8 wickets remaining and 96.5 overs to be bowled tomorrow.

Great day at CLS today, looked all downhill at 62 - 4 with an overcast sky benefitting the bowlers. Superb 99 partnership between Scotty and Colly until Scotty holed out to Smith who ran about 20 yards to take the catch having just stuffed his face with a banana! Lovely knocks by Hastings, Coghlin and Rushy at the end to keep the tail wagging by beating the Lancs first innings score by a run.

A great spell of bowling from Rushy to take out one of their openers in the first over. Hastings struggled with his run up to begin with, but then made amends. Davies looked well set until a pearler which was so plum the Umpire's finger went up as quick as a rat up a drain pipe!

Durham on top again, but it's going to be a tense day tomorrow with plenty of pints of Pedigree to see me through it ....

Allegedly the weather forecast says rain tonight and a clear day tomorrow!
