36-1 at present. Effectively 108-1. Hoping the sun gets out and we can make hay. I think there's meant to be rain around tomorrow which would be f***ing typical.

Commentators citing that conditions are difficult for batting again - we're going nowhere fast that's for sure.

cloudy overhead and variable bounce, i don't think we'll need all that much of a target to set them if it carries on like this.

Richardson edges Chapple but it doesn't carry.

Bloody hell lads, ganna be another Somerset this fucker :(

Richardson lbw Smith 9. 62-3 lead is 134. Worrying times.

Stokes c & b Smith 0. Second ball. 134-4. We're doing a f***ing Somerset again

To think I was even contemplating us reaching such a score with which we could Declare on....... No chance now. Be bowled out today I reckon. Bowlers will need to be on the money from the off if we're to win this one.

80-4 (152 lead), Borthwick 33*, Collingwood 4*.

Just need one or two good partnerships. Anything north of 300 in the last innings will be challenging especially if these conditions stick around, so just need to eek out another 150 if we can. Like I said one or two decent partnerships will put a big hole in that.

Get through to lunch without losing another one and I reckon we'll be fine.

Lunch 96-4.
Lead is 168.
Borthwick 45*, Collingwood 8*. Partnership is 34.

TVBC has it spot on in fairness, I do tend to get a panic on at the fall of a wicket and when two fall quickly it's pandemonium!!

We're still a long way from a good score mind and if Lancashire take two quick wickets after Lunch we're really in the clarts.

If Borthwick can kick on and/or anyone else can make a score. Or a pair can make a 50 partnership or two then we'll be not far off a formidable lead.

Failing a Lancashire-esque collapse we should get a lead of atleast 300 and I'd fancy us to defend that on Day 4.

Ha'way lads.

Borthwick's 50 came off 92 balls and included 8x4's.

Partnership now worth 53.

Durham 115-4 from 40 overs and lead by 187. Borthwick 60*, Collingwood 12*.

Borthwick looks like he's motoring long now. He's really churning up the runs since moving up to the top 3 last year.

Whoops my bad

Borthwick c Smith b Kerrigan 92. Bastard. Partnership was 99. 161-5, lead is 233.

Still in a decent position, looking likely that Lancashire will have to beat their first innings score to win this.

If we lose no more than one wicket before Tea I think we'll be in a very commanding position.

Shame for Scotty, even though its only 8 more runs, selectors notice 100s a lot more.

181-5 - Collingwood 39*, Muchall 6*
Lead is 253
Marty suggesting on commentary that we'd probably like a further 100 from here and I'd agree with that. 350 should be enough and if any side could chase that on Day 4 then they'd deserve to win the game. I wonder if after Tea we'll see some shots played - providing these two are still there, or as earlier mentioned, aslong as we are no more than 6 down.
