LVCC - Durham v Lancashire

Another pulsating day of County Cricket. Another example of why the longer format is such an excellent game. At 123-6 and then 184-8 I was just hoping we could get to 200. A couple of hours later we've put on 126 for the 9th wicket, unbroken and have made it to a third batting point.

If the lads can hang about for another hour or so in the morning it will likely achieve two things - a fourth batting point and fully demoralising the Lancashire team. Shortly after Tea I'm sure their openers would've been preparing themselves for an hour or so of batting, I doubt they'll now be relishing facing our seamers 300+ adrift.

Looking forward to going down tomorrow, has anyone on here been down today? Where is the wicket? Closer to the pavilion or the scoreboard??

harsh that like, marty is spot on. you went on about it in the last match thread but i was listening to commentary too and fairly sure he said 'against whoever' not ever.
I'm not criticising him, I think he's very good just saying I've not been able to check the stats myself

Beautiful morning at CLS. Single apiece in the first over and that's a new record 10th wicket stand for Durham!

312-8. Coughlin 72*, Mustard 65*. Partnership 128.

Mustard out trying to go big. 338 all out. Seems disappointing not making 350 but from 184-8 that's a marvellous effort. Hogg took 6-70.

Seems to be a bit of variable bounce in the wicket. Nice cloud cover too so hopefully it does plenty for our seamers.

Lancashire have asked for the heavy roller.
