I wasn't complaining about the one he gave ;), just an observation.

Wasn't a dolly like. Was diving to his left, but he'll be disappointed as he got both hands to it. Hard to tell from where I'm sitting but it seemed strange that Mustard didn't go for it......
well commentators seemed to think he should have been catching that.

We've been dropping quite a few this season

Coughlin replaces Hastings at the Finchale End.

It's been a poor year for catching that's for sure.

Stokes on at the Lumley End in place of Rushworth.

3 no balls in his first over. Looks to be putting it through at a good pace mind.

We were wondering why he isn't playing and looking for an update on his back condition? Any ideas / intel?

Injury update on - he has a lower leg injury but is hoping to be fit for the game with on Friday

Disappointing session really. Bowling wise especially. The openers bowled well and created chances but Coughlin and Stokes bowled too many four balls.

Didn't look like there was much in the wicket, although Rushy and Stokes looked sharp. Certainly sharper than Hogg bowled first up for Lancashire.

Stokes has Davies caught by Richardson at third slip for 46. Needed that. 94-2.

Stokes has bowled much better after Lunch. Another in the next 15-20 minutes and we're in business.

Khawaja nailed on for a 50.

I can see them getting a lead before the day is over at this rate. Haven't come close to taking a wicket since Stokes got Davies.

Stokes will have a long wait for an England recall bowling like this. It's been a shocking afternoon. Only Hastings has had any control at all. Him and Rushworth aside the bowling has been absolute dross.

Off to work in a moment, certainly not the two sessions of play I was hoping to see. I though 338 was a good score but on the evidence of what I've seen it could be 100 shy of competitive.

Very disappointing. A lot of hard work needed to get out of this relegation battle we face.

:(

Thanks Mackembhoy - that resolves that then. Cheers

Meanwhile, Prince is looking safe for a fifty and Khawaja a ton ....... no looking good
