Speaking of Mustard, this was taken from this mornings journal,

'We got a little bit lucky,' was Mustard's verdict. 'I don't think we bowled particularly well. Okay, we got three wickets but we conceded quite a few runs on a pitch where I think if you put the ball in a good area it should only be a two or three runs per-over pitch."

57 runs from 19.5 overs = 2.9 per over.

Nice one Phill.

Maybe he's been 'socialising' with Pudsey

Edit - stopped raining, the drying process begins!

I'm at the ground and the groundstaff reckon half 3 if it stops completely now and doesn't rain again.

There is still drizzle in the air as I type.

I'm no massive cricket fan or anything but Onions always seems to be taking loads of wickets. Does he not get called up for England?

He's quality and he is a great exponent of seam bowling if there is a little bit in the pitch. Its maybe thought that on the very flat pitches you often get in test cricket he would struggle.

I feel an annoying 9th wicket partnership coming on!
