Challenge them by pointing out the specific points they’ve failed to address.

It’s an utterly pathetic way to deal with responsible complaints.

They’ll be banking on us being too lazy/thick to not realise what they are doing.

It’s all recorded and ultimately features in the numbers which gets reported to the national organisation.

So because they showed it in the witching hour and at breakfast, the two slots with the lowest viewing figures, means its acceptable to the editors/directors to not then show it on the most popular slot!! You really couldn't make it up.

Using the "it was on the big news" excuse is just a piss take. They've never lost an opportunity to repeat the "good news" if its already been shown on the national version. Heard Dawnie say plenty of times, "As you will have seen on the national news!"

Not reporting that it was the first time a prem league game had been stopped for racism, the vandalism to the Sunderland coach.
Rest assured if this was reversed it would have been the headline.
As other people have mentioned I dont like knocking the BBC but this stunk the place out.
Trumpian/Goebbelian call it what you will.

I’m not a formal complainer unless I think something is really wrong (cba mostly), and I certainly don’t want to be complaining just to point score over the Mags, but I think the flippant glossing over of the racism on Look North and the fact that supporters could literally have been killed on Sunday is grounds enough to complain to the BBC and to the police - and I have. It took 10 mins altogether and I recommend others doing the same.

Someone kindly posted both links to both complaint forms in a previous message but I can’t find the post.
