Just seen they have had 10 Centimeters of rain in some areas in the last hour, which is about the normal average for the whole of June and July put together. Due to go on to 9 PM across London so could well get worse over the next few hours

Correct, when this one happened last week, someone’s £2.5m Bugatti was parked in the basement of one of our projects. The sewers backed up. The Bugatti ended up submerged in 550mm of shit

About 7 super cars ended up knackered. Not the first time it’s happened either (even in the last year). The sewers are that old, a lot of them don’t have non-return valves fitted at the surface water point. A lot of retrospective work getting done across London
