Loch Ness Drogba

He definitely hasn't sorted his injury issues out he never plays a full game that says to me his body can't handle it!
It says Southampton have learned they need to look after him and not ask him to play full games twice a week.

Needs to be used sparingly by Scotland or he is likely to be crocked again.

Love Isidor but I can't see him here next season. Stewart was superb for us in championship looked premier level.... Then Fulham happened. Someone will get a good player but not one that can play a full season

I don't think Southampton will be in any position to trigger anything once the FA and UEFA are done with them.
Southampton will struggle to stay up next year some angry players will put there transfer notices in soon.

Stewart will be looking for 3 year contract and I don’t blame him…I predict Blackburn or Derby just a hunch.

Loved him when he was here, but we’ve absolutely moved up a couple of level since he played for us.

His goal at Wembley is one of my favourite moments following the lads

I agree he looked great for us in the championship, I’ll question whether he looked Premier League level, but the one thing I will point out is, wee sold Ross Stewart when at the height of his career had played 13 Championship matches. He did well in them, but he had a very small sample period. He’s had a few more now like.

Value will skyrocket when he starts banging them in at the world cup.
Clarke won't play him unless he has to. He goes with players he 'knows and trusts'. Even if they are lower league journeyman quality.

Play for a draw and hope McTominay scores an overhead from the halfway line.

I haven't watched him since he left but he's still as good as when he left it would be a good free transfer signing. 6'5, great work rate and good all round striker who scored at a better rate for us after stepping up a level. After all the injuries I'd imagine he's nowhere near the player he once was.
6’5” my arse

Most likely because Southampton signed him when they were in the PL and now they’ve been thrown out of the playoff final, fined and given a points deduction from Spygate they are having to reduce their costs.
They didn’t

Ability and style of play wise he’d be perfect as a squad player and used primarily as a sub he might stay fit enough to really contribute but he will want more than that, even if it is starting and only playing an hour. I think we can do better now.

Same division as us and signed just before we pumped them 5 nowt

Out of contract. Seems to have sorted his injury issues, I'd have him back

Really?

Lionel Nessie will be 30 years old in a few weeks, and since LEAVING us, ( that's ignoring his missing a season plus before leaving us ) he's missed 86 out of 130 possible games at Southampton through injury - mainly due to his hamstring injuries.

He missed 20 games this season with hamstring injuries. How would his hamstrings hold out against faster PL opposition?

He only made 12 starts for Southampton this season.

If anyone even suggested we sign any other player with that level of injury history, they'd be laughed at. Same goes for Ross Stewart.

Loved him when he was here, pissed off when he left the way he did. Happy for him that he got a good payday at Spyhampton, ( and we got good money for him ) but wouldn't want him back.

If we took him back on ' pay when you play ' he'd end up owing us money!
