LinkedIn - Bellend, Motivated or something else?

I wonder which category this person falls into...

5.am up and ready to go for fun Friday at RG.

When they are asleep - I work.
When they have weekends off - I work.
When they socialise - I work.

Buzzing this morning. Happy Friday all 😊

Frankly, anyone that obsessed with work and prioritising it over what most people would see as "a life" is pretty depressing.
You think you're top bollocks because you're up before 6 and you're listening to the Greatest Showman?

Clearly this person hasn't heard of the expression "work/life balance".

Thoughts?
You sound jealous and are probably a slacker...

"You make your own luck" is something lucky people say to take credit for their good fortune. Hard work, lol. He's on a laptop with a brew. If a woman can do it without wrecking false nails, it doesn't count as graft, imo.

So a random guy posts his arrogant opinions on how others live, then another guy condemns him whilst doing the same thing...Hmm, I wonder why we are f**ked as a society?

Attention seeking at it's finest........however......he speaks the truth. I read Schwarzenegger's book and the stuff he spouts is basically the same, some people get genuinely lucky. But most people get out of life what they put in.

Let’s be quite real about this all. The people who use the old ‘harder I work , the luckier I seem to be’ aren’t special, amazing brilliantly talented people. They are just people who have prioritised x and sacrificed a, b , c and d.

In my younger days I’d look at all these people with killer bodies and used to think they were born that way. Turns out they actually live in the gym and in doing so sacrifice quality time with friends or family.

To some people money and status and looking great is the biggest things in life, to some people there’s much more to life than those things.

it’s all about how much value people place on different areas of life.

This LinkedIn poster probably has an unhealthy obsession with work and being successful.

I’d ask him what is he missing out on and why is ‘being successful and the best’ so important to him. What is he overcompensating for etc…

Luck is the most overlooked factor in life mind, everyone who gets a bit of success would like to think it's not luck but the reality is it always plays a massive part in our lives.

The bloke posting that online is a f***ing whopper like, he works in security not the premier League, Jake Humphrey comes out with the same shite on his podcast.

If he's that successful he shouldn't need to brag about it. Juat get on with your "amazing" life. Neebody else gives a toss like.
This thread says they do.
as Roy Keane said, you make your own luck. it's true. the more pitches you get off, the more deals you make.

some people are happy to earn less and live life; some people love to work. so fuck. let them get on with it.
Ah fresh air...cheers 👍

Welcome to the USA

Perhaps I'm just not very ambitious or whatever (well I'm not, beyond winning the lottery and becoming an international playboy) but people like this seem one bad day away from murdering a lot of the local cats in their area.

You can graft as hard as you like in any industry but it just depends which industry you go for whether you gain all the economic riches from it. Just the way of the world. That's why earning X amount of money means absolutely nowt to anyone but the people earning it. Good luck to them.

There are two types of people...those that post crap about their lives because their mates do, and those that post crap about their lives because they don't have mates. If the former stopped doing it, we'd all know who to care about.

Massive bellend. Sort of person I really dislike.

I’ve realised LinkedIn is increasingly full of bellends. It’s getting like Instagram.

Particular fan of the highly emotional/personal info people now seem to want to share

This all day long.
Used to be a decent place for job opportunities, now taken over by a load of shite and people I dislike yet never met.

No I don’t want to link up (not you mate) :)
