Lincoln away

Bit surprised this hasn't sold out at this stage (30+) of the sale..new(ish) ground and not too far away..just noticed as well that no loyalty points added yet for 2 tickets bought online on Wednesday...usually show up fairly quickly...
Is hasnt sold out on 30 pts?

Always good to read other teams forums and I hope I don't take up too much of your time- the following will hopefully help when you visit- have to say I am really looking forward to this one. Will be a cracking atmosphere from both ends.

Pubs- Officially the Square Sail is the ONLY away pub in the city and is a 20 minute walk to the ground, You'll be escorted by police from this pub to the ground (don't ask me why!). All other pubs on the High street are traditional Lincoln pubs BUT do accept away fans (you may be asked to cover up your colours though in places like 'Spoons). Golden Eagle is a favourite and there is a cracking micro pub near KFC. We had 1900 Everton fans here 4 weeks ago and not one arrest- all happily mixed in the pubs.

The fanzone at the ground attracts a few hundred fans on home days and all fans are welcome at the fanzone and in the club itself. It gets busy so you won't get many drinks while you're in there.

Stacey West end- a stand with poles which are designed to block the view of at least 6 rows of fans behind (like Luton away but with 3 times the number of posts). Split on days when we aren't playing Sunderland (or Peterborough/Bolton/Coventry) between home and away fans, it will obviously be away only for this game. Low roof so creates a cracking noise which bellows out when the whole stand sings so you will enjoy that one.

Parking- For those driving Sincil Bank is set at the end of a terraced estate. This game will likely be a home sell out too but on all match days parking around the ground is very difficult unless you arrive in really good time. Otherwise there is parking at two car parks which are a 10 minute walk (Tentercroft street and multi storey Central Car Park- the Central one is easier to get out of after the game). Parking at the Priory Academy (LN5 8BW) has also just started on match day but it is one driveway out so will be a wait to get out. Otherwise South Park and Washingborough road has some street/off street parking. After that, it is find where you can!

Fans- I've followed the Imps for 37 years and am aware of our previous reputation. LCFC is a different club today- huge numbers of families, kids and granparents follow us home and away (ok, "huge" for us!). Lincoln Transit Elite haven't existed for as long as old Ford Transits have been off the road. You certainly won't get asked if you know the way to the "bus station/train station etc" as the old days were and more than likely will find some happy souls to chat to as you walk to the ground- very much like Norwich and Fulham! And you'll have the delight of hearing the two hand cranked air raid sirens which start up at every home corner (we really don't get out much).

Lincs Police- quite a proactive bunch and will intervene very quickly.

Uphill Lincoln- if anyone does like some culture, the uphill area of Lincoln (about a 30 minute walk to the ground) has some real ale pubs, the Cathedral and castle. Worth a visit and parking is ample uphill so parking there an walking down for the more active ones. Note you will walk down Steep Hill to the high street. It is called that for a reason!

Ticket Prices- yes, I know! I've just spent £27 on a ticket for Peterborough in two weeks as well. Sorry, I know it's L1. Not much else I can say.

There are other websites which will also advise on parking, pubs etc but the above may help make the day easier.

Enjoy your day and no doubt I will be up for the return in January

Oh really? Shame.
Assuming it doesn’t sell out today, is the next tier general sale or do they do 15+?
I guess there’s always next year if we carry on at this rate

Not sure. It was 35+ on Friday and dropped to 30 this morning. I'm hoping for a drop to 20+!

how many tickets given ?

Any idea what the trains are like after the game? We are heading back to Sheffield to pick up the Durham train. Is it usually chaos? It was at Ipswich trying to get to Peterborough
