From Everton? Not with his short arms shirleywe outplayed them for 70% of the game last night, yet flipside is , we got beat and they hit woodwork twice and pickford made a great save also
Rebekah ???Straight swap Roberts for Vardy![]()
The only answer I can think of is, parachute payments are a “bonus” and those that sell are only entitled to a % based on that.It helps if (like leicester) you can keep the bulk of the squad together while also making serious money with the sales of Barnes and Maddison to recruit.
Look at Burnley last year and Norwich & Albion previously.
Leicester miles ahead in the Championship and promoted by Xmas. ?? We must question the gap between prem and champo. Is it getting wider every year. ? If so why ?
Was a good game I thought, we should have scored more but then again so should you.
Was impressed with some of your play, I watched your warm up pre-match and there was a lot of work on little triangles and fast movement patterns and you could see that several times during the match.
Roberts, Clarke, Neil & Ballard all looked good I thought, might aswell not have had a striker playing. I didn't even notice him. Sort that position out and you should be banging goals in for fun.
Don't know who was marking Justin but I've not seen us score a header direct from a set piece as easy in years.
Looks like you've got a team that will at least give 100% and not give up, that's surely a major bonus after your last few years since being in the PL.
A dodgy kick at one point, but the saves will do him the world of good.Forgot to mention Patterson too, very good game.
I was just thinking similar, I have never been to the King Power but went to Filbert Street many times, it wasn't the friendliest of away grounds I ever visitedBeats my last visit to Leicester (Filbert Street) when some kernt pulled a knife on me and chased me down the street!

Roberts in a nutshell. Becoming a bit of a fraud unfortunately. To be fair, I did mention that whilst Roberts is exciting to watch, he’s produced the square route of fuck all this season.
I was extremely frustrated with him tonight. I can see why they thought he was good though. Always in the verge of something fantastic. For us, never quite getting there.
I remember going in 85 I'm sure it was in the milk cup and it wasn't a good ground.Filbert Street like looking through a letter box the away end

About 50 of them jumped a mini bus full of us on the way back from Derby in the mid 90s at a service station.I worked with someone from Leicester who used to be a cage fighter in Brazil in the 1990's when I didn't have a clue what that was. His marra told me when he got back for Leicester games he used to go with a car load and get in altercations with a mini bus full of other fans and knock fuck out them. Told me about a time when he went Leeds and they got set on by about 15 lads and he'd knocked about five of them out before anyone else had a chance to throw a punch.
I don’t think we were man marking on corners in the first half - just assuming that because Jobe was nowhere near anyone when he managed to jump all of 5cm when he missed the header. Was still a good header from Justin mind. Was a good game I thought, we should have scored more but then again so should you.

But the parachute payments have nothing to do with us being top. Through 9 successful years of being in the premier League we obviously accumulated millions we earned by being there. We also, naturally, accumulated premier league quality players all over our squad, and sold two of them for nigh on ÂŁ80 million this summer which we have spent about half on plugging the gaps made by departures. It's pretty obvious clubs that have been in the prem for years are going to have an advantage, we were never going to sell our entire team and buy shit replacements.Because the Premiership gave them all those lovely millions to spend. More than most in the Championship have. Parachute payments are a joke. It needs to stop.
…..but you're a good club and it would be nice to see you get back up.
He literally has to run the ball into the net to score apart from the twice a season curlerTo be fair, I did mention that whilst Roberts is exciting to watch, he’s produced the square route of fuck all this season.
