Leicester miles ahead in the Championship and promoted by Xmas. ?? We must question the gap between prem and champo. Is it getting wider every year. ? If so why ?
L***s will be clear in 2nd by then as well I suspect. I don't know what the answer is tbh but it's definitely getting wider.

It helps if (like leicester) you can keep the bulk of the squad together while also making serious money with the sales of Barnes and Maddison to recruit.

Look at Burnley last year and Norwich & Albion previously.

Beats my last visit to Leicester (Filbert Street) when some kernt pulled a knife on me and chased me down the street!
Don’t say anything like that on here , everyone will be on telling you you deserved it etc , and no one believes anything like that happens without good reasoning when in fact it does

It’s probably more than people think, but we’ve obviously also been able to bring in a fair few players to replace them.

Nice chaps.

Walked outside if the North Stand west. Me & my daughter had scarves on. One fella walked alongside us & said it was a very good game & we were the best team he’d seen this season, no-one ever came to play football. Said our right winger looked a good player. Wished us well, then off he went.

Seconds later another bloke appeared on the other side of us & gave my daughter one of them clapper things. He opened it up & said “do you want this as it has your team’s badge on”. They must produce them for every match. Nice of him.

Then a third bloke appeared & said more or less what the first fell said. Very good team, played football, Roberts is good.

Easy for them to be nice when they’ve win I suppose. Nice to be nice though.
They sound like people traffickers, I think you have had a lucky escape.

Head north post haste my friend, keep off the moors.

That's definitely an accurate memory of Filbert Street @Burlesque @Squirrel

I worked with someone from Leicester who used to be a cage fighter in Brazil in the 1990's when I didn't have a clue what that was. His marra told me when he got back for Leicester games he used to go with a car load and get in altercations with a mini bus full of other fans and knock fuck out them. Told me about a time when he went Leeds and they got set on by about 15 lads and he'd knocked about five of them out before anyone else had a chance to throw a punch.

Leicester went down in my estimations when I was in Madrid when they played there in 2017. Imagine being in a Champions League quarter final in a city as good as Madrid and throwing chairs around a square singing ten German bombers, total embarrassment.

Aye had some decent crack with a couple on the way back to the car, complimenting the team and performance …..rather they’d thought we were lucky and shite and come away with the points mind

To be fair, I did mention that whilst Roberts is exciting to watch, he’s produced the square route of fuck all this season.

I was extremely frustrated with him tonight. I can see why they thought he was good though. Always in the verge of something fantastic. For us, never quite getting there.
Probably coz he's got the sq route of nowt to pass to due to a lack of centre forward for the last 18 month
