LEGO builds for Adults

As a baby boomer I feel cheated Lego has endured and both Meccano and Scalextrix died a death

I read that the only reason they are thriving was because they changed their policy to licence themselves to films etc. I think Star Wars might have been the first but before that Lego was going nowhere

I read a bit about them a while ago, they'd diversified with the oncoming digital age to protect the core product & theme parks. Licensing computer games and movies gave them an 'in' to a new generation of kids. They also built out the range with products like 'lego friends'.

More recent i think they may have hitched up to a retro thing where adults with cash are recreating their youth again - just look at the thread here about adult lego builds.

Has anyone across anything to display all 10 F1 Speed Champs?

Saw plenty of "nice" wall mounts on FB for £40 but as usual all turn out to be Scams (not that I fell for any). Then there is this ...

but I aint trusting that either @ £150. Current best buy for all 10 is £144.99 on Zavvi (with £5 of £50 code)

TIA
