Picked this up boxed for 25 notes yesterday.. going to build, check it out and shift on for 100

Starting the Endurance now. Thought I'd try emptying all the bags into one big pile (3000 pieces). Half an hour in and only just found the first piece

Im laughing my head off at this.

I did exactly the same thing yesterday. With exactly the same set.

Filed under "seemed like a good idea at the time"

The little bags of Lego annoy me. Theres not enough pieces in each bag to provide a challenge, but emptying them all is too much.

Less bags with more pieces in them is obviously the answer

Why on earth would you do that!!! It’s bad enough raking around each bag of 100 pieces searching for a particular piece whilst vowing a holy war against Lego for omitting it from the bag….only to find it a minute later

In other Lego news..the new Xfiles set looks class

About thirty bags then more little bags inside. Took half an hour just emptying them. I'd probably keep emptying the lot like, as you say it's not challenging enough doing one at a time.

Stretch out the 'fun'

X-files one does look nice.

I do one bag at a time. I build lego for relaxation, if I wanted a challenge I'd do a jigsaw.

Anyone used Minifigs and Bricks in York? Just packaged up about 25-30 sets including Nexo Knights, Ninjago, Lego Movie. All in good condition with instructions but no boxes. Heard this place will pay you cash for them, but wondered if it is like We Buy Any Car and slash what they will give you. My son wants to get rid to make space and hopefully pay up for the Tie Fighter Helmet. Should really have sold them separately on Vinted/Ebay but couldn't be bothered with the volume.

Well I'm never emptying the lot again, took far too long to get to this  Still can't find a bastard sloped 1x1 bit.
