It’s a bit fragile for that I would have thought. A bit too heavy I’d have thought as well.

Got the Dune Ornithopter thing from Smyths yesterday. Currently 50 quid off. It has the absolute *maddest* minifig in it of Baron Harkonnen

One of the better ones in the set.

I was a bit non-plussed at first like but was enjoyable enough doing one each day. Had to look up a few of them mind 'cos they're new fangled Disney inventions. I'd prefer more iconic minis but for a set that's 6+ I realise I'm not the demographic they're targeting here. :lol: :lol:

Got this for Xmas and having the same issues. Rebuilt the bow a few times but it keeps coming loose under the slightest pressure. Just left it loose now to get the build finished.

Not often I’m disappointed with Lego but this is a poorly designed set. Not like it was cheap either . .

I loved the temple run set. Clever how the traps function 👏🏻

:lol: Wow, just reading some of the negative reviews on the Lego site. I remember @Ambivalent Dave's original comment so been sorta looking forward to see what the crack is.


Finished the Delorean over Christmas (I went with BTTF2 configuration with the Mr Fusion unit), and I'm 5 bags through the Temple Run.

Jaws'll be next up I think, but I doubt it'll be for a while now I'm back to work. Might do the library freebie first.

it's an absolute twat until you do it out of order. It simply blows up and disintegrates if you try to apply any pressure to it. The reddit feed helped me.... the second comment here :)

:lol: I'm dead interested to have a look at it now like. I sort of don't wanna read up too much on it now in case of spoilers. :lol:

A lot of the negative comments are having a go at Lego, but this was an Ideas set that was submitted. I know they refine the Ideas sets, but I wonder if this part of the design was maybe part of the original construction.

Tbh, to fix it it’s a slight change in the order and it goes together reasonably well.

But doing it the way they suggest :lol: It literally explodes.

Cheers, not sure I can be arsed to rebuild it again. It’s holding together currently but I can hear bits rattling around inside. Presumably those little blue bits.

Just wanna get it done now. Got my next build awaiting. . I love a castle 🏰

That castle does look class like. Seven year old me woulda loved that to gan with me Robin Hood's hideout. :lol:
