LEGO builds for Adults

Started on the Delorian build last week, and ordered the light kit to go with. I had about a quarter of it done, when I realised that I would probably have to disassemble it to put the lights on. So at the moment that's all I have got done until I light comes then I can get back onto it. I'm not sure whether it is me, but it certainly feels a bit more complex compared to the Optimus Prime I did last year.

What light kit did you go for?

I've finished the delorean that I got for Christmas, but am tempted by the light kit.

nice, I'm still deciding if I should get the Yamaha to compliment my BMW and Ducati, got all the 1:8 cars already and most of the ideas* scale ones (F40, 911, Fiat 500), space to display is a real problem.

*or whatever they are calling it this week LEGO Icons?

I bought this a year ago, I think it’s now been replaced by a different version but this is the more attractive imho. I actually opened the box today but am yet to start it 😂

are you mistaking the replacement for the smaller original defender they released?

The light kit I've got for the Home Alone house requires you to build it in full first.

Dunno if it'd be the same with the car.

Finally finished the Delorian Build. Lights were a bit tricky in certain places. had real bother with the lights on the two rear vents, instructions were very confusing and I snapped one the wires when I was trying to fix them into place. So ended up I had to leave them off.

Class. I've got the DeLorean like but haven't started it. Still got about 6 bags of the Batmobile to get through - the thing's f***ing huge.

If ya lighting pack's owt like mine for the Home Alone house, the batteries don't last 5 mins. I just plug mine into a phone charger.
