Leeds forum

Some real Leeds haters on this forum.

Whether you like it or not Leeds are a massive club with the best away support in the UK. Games are always soldout with a 20,000 season ticket waiting list.

Leeds have been mismanaged in previous years and suffered. No question about that. But no club in england has the potential Leeds have.

Leeds are the 4th biggest club in England after manure, Liverpool, arsenal. That's set in stone in my opinion.

In terms of club size I put Leeds on par with Atletico Madrid although Atletico have had much more success in recent years.
Holy sh1t 😄😄😄😄😄.

20k waiting list? You've only recently been able to fill your medium-sized ground. Before Bielsa, me and 50 mates could have bought 400 tickets each to every home game.

How the hell you come up with that utter nonsense in the last 2 paragraphs I don't know. I'm genuinely curiously what you think Leeds are, or have ever been historically, that has them as the 4th biggest club in England and on a par with Atletico Madrid ffs. Have you read that out loud? It makes you sound INSANE.

Historically your average league position is bottom half top flight in England. That's well below both Sunderland and Newcastle, who both make the top 10.

Your average attendance is below both (both now and historically).

Your highest average and highest individual attendance is lowe than ours (your highest individual attendance was in fact against Sunderland).

Historically you've won less than us. 3 league titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup. We've won 6 league titles and 2 FA cups.

What you have had, are some good spells at the top end of the table without ever doing much. But there's an element of recency bias there towards the 90s and 70s. Before that you did nothing, and done nothing since O'Leary left.

Sunderland had 58 consecutive top flight seasons at one point.

Leeds longest spell is 18 years.

Leeds cant even stand up to SUNDERLAND, nevermind Atletico Madrid and being 4th biggest in England. Come on man, put the whiskey down 😄

Sunderland won the top titles between 1891 and 1936. Over 100 years ago.. For examples leicesters modern day single prem title more credible.

Sunderland have done nothing for around 100 years.
A stadium that is too big and half empty.

You have good support no doubt and youre a well respected club. I'm pleased you're back in the prem. You might do well.

Your fans seem to have an agenda against Leeds though and the truth is you've always been seen by the whole country as second fiddle to Newcastle.
As some clubs sing "If you know your history...." and mock clubs for having no history. Either accept it or just pretend the top league only started in recent years. The Mags do the same so you won't be the only ones, but Leeds have been shite for bloody years lately (So have we the last 8 years ) so i don't get the hassle. Enjoy that we are both back but accept Leeds are not going to get players we both wanted like you and others thought .

Leeds the 4th biggest club in England

More relegations in their history than league titles 😅 @Peace what’s your favourite flavour crayon

😳😅

Let's all remember this again

I reckon that’s closest to the truth tbh. Probably just a Dutch kid who did a Sunderland ‘road to glory’ career mode on FIFA, then did a Leeds one and decided to make them his team. Reminds me of when I was a kid and we all had NHL teams. No actual grown up fan from the area would carry on like that.

That’s my charitable theory because I always give people the benefit of the doubt. The alternative is that he’s the saddest mag in existence, which is a f***ing tough category to stand out in.
