Leeds forum

Without a doubt.

Me and the Missus go to a carvery in Yorkshire pretty regularly and the chef dishes out the meat and Yorkshire.

I've convinced him that there's such a thing as a 'Durham Pudding' - a Yorkshire Pudding but made in a full size loaf tin (which is the way I make them at home).

Every time I go I remark, "nice big Yorkshires again, but not quite on with Durham Puddings". He replied the last time that he was going to have to try them that way some time (Although he will probably - as I do, really - still just call them Yorkshires ๐Ÿ˜‚).
Hes humouring you , we do that with out of counties๐Ÿคซ ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜„

I enjoyed a number of alcoholic beverages with my very salty Leeds supporting mates on Friday night.

'We weren't that interested'
'You've overpaid'
'They're not better than we've got'
'26 point gap so you need players more than we do'
etc etc.

My particular favourite is 'I suppose this makes you think you're a bigger club than us'
To which my standard reply is always 'I always have done' and to ask them to name the criteria by which we're not bigger.
They don't like struggling with that
Always found Leeds a weird bunch. Passionate set of fans, no doubt about it - but have some odd views.

When they beat us 2-1 last minute at Elland Road, my Leeds supporting mate goes โ€œthatโ€™s revenge for the earlier gameโ€.

Revenge? It was their div of a keeper who let it go in.

I mean the first recorded recipe for 'Yorkshire Puddings' was by a woman who was born, raised and died a cockney. Yorkshire's must famous culinary dish is Southern, it's not from Yorkshire ๐Ÿ˜‚

Loads of them saw it as revenge. And it was all part of the conspiracy they believe the football world has going on against Leeds United.
They are deluded though. Lots of them still call themselves the Champions of Europe. Which, I often remind them, they never were.

Seth Johnson & his agent knew how to deal with Leeds ๐Ÿ˜†
Leeds have learnt their lesson from those years when they threw bucketloads of cash and almost bankrupted the club.

These days they make lowball offers, lose their transfer targets and save their money instead.

Their chairman must have a cracking ISA

Whether you like it or not Leeds are a massive club with the best away support in the UK. Games are always soldout with a 20,000 season ticket waiting list.

Leeds have been mismanaged in previous years and suffered. No question about that. But no club in england has the potential Leeds have.

Leeds are the 4th biggest club in England after manure, Liverpool, arsenal. That's set in stone in my opinion.

In terms of club size I put Leeds on par with Atletico Madrid although Atletico have had much more success in recent years.
