Then the coach from Manchester to Leeds before the drive home.

It’s a complete joke but not much anyone can do about it.

Annoyingly I’m sat here watching people board a ryanair flight to Leeds, and there was a Newcastle flight earlier than would have been even better.

No chance of getting transferred by jet2 sadly, even with 2 young kids

Was a bomb scare at Leeds when we landed. I ended up walking to sentinel parking with cases as no vehicles allowed in or out. In house now.

We got back home at 5am so more or less 12 hours delayed.

Highlight had to be getting the cases at Manchester and the Jet2 staff saying the coaches to take you to Leeds will be here in half an hour. Went down well!

How can you have that long to arrange it and still be so late

Probably stowed by crew as part of the evacuation checklist, andthey subsequently decided not to evacuate the aircraft (rightly if no fire).

Also maybe lack of hydraulic pressure if everything shut down?

Makes sense for the over wing exits. I'm looking forward to see what mentor and green dot aviation think of it.
