Latest boxing crack

Did he *really* say 'don't shop in white shops'? Here is what he actually said. Sounds more like 'don't give money to racists' to me.

"Today we join many thousands of protestors in the UK and many hundreds of thousands across the globe. We stand united against the virus that has been instrumental in taking lives, lives of the young, old, rich and even poor. A virus that is not apologetic, a virus that spreads across all sectors of our communities, sports, education, churches, entertainment, the media and even the government. Not just in the UK, but across the world. The virus has been declared a pandemic. It is out of control. And I'm not actually talking about Covid-19.

The virus I'm referring to is called racism. How long are we going to allow racism to spread through our communities - and right now we are in the community - and affect our lives without using the vaccine you already have in your possession?

What is the possession? Me and you. You are the vaccine. I am the vaccine. We can no longer, from today onwards, be proud, we can no longer sit back and remain silent on the senseless and unlawful killings, sly racism of another human being based only on what? Their skin colour. We need to speak out in peaceful demonstrations, just like today, so well done Watford, inject the vaccine. We must not use a demonstration for selfish motive and turn it into rioting and looting.

We need to be united in non-violent demonstrations, show them where it hurts, abstain from spending your money in their shops and economies, and invest in black-owned businesses. And that's for all communities, if you want to uplift yourselves, invest in your own businesses. We have to engage with the youth, I completely agree with that, and put an end to black youth gang culture.

I'm going to be real with you about gang culture. I'm down to ride 100 per cent, but what you have to realise is it's done, it is done, trust me, unless you want to be sitting in jail spending years upon years of your only life that you have thinking about 'Yeah they can lock the locks but they can't stop the clocks.' That's all done because there's too much cameras, too much intelligence, all the OGs that I know are telling me, 'Bro, it's finished. It's finished'. Gang life is finishing, that's what we're saying, I know that, I'm not promoting no gangster business."

*** Going to bed now, looking forward to waking up to 100 notifications  ***
Tries to come across as intellegant and and a man of the people but in reality is neither ( same thing happened at the end of the fight last night ) ……he needs to work harder at his boxing

Morning all.

Crikey just watched his reactions. Guess he is not a nice bloke after all. The mask always slips at some point.

What a classless human being.
The mask has slipped a few times before and he never comes out of it well. Remember him trying to create beef with Whyte when he was the Sky pundit for Whyte vs Chisora 2 and needed an opponent for Wembley, then actually biting on his own bait and looking like a tit. Prefer that to the media trained 'stay humble' robot though.

Thought the first couple of rounds were close but would agree Usyk nicked them. Think I gave Joshua the 3rd and 5th. He did well working the body but just thought he was still a bit hesitant. Usyk left himself exposed a number of times early on and he could have hurt him had to been a fraction quicker but seemed wary of what would come back.

Usyk took complete control from round 6 onwards, it was masterful the way he kept throwing those combinations.

There's still plenty of good fights out there for Joshua but not sure he'll have the motivation. Best case scenario is Fury stays retired and the WBC ends up with Wilder again.

Watching the bit where he went up to his opponent prattling on. Is he attempting to praise the lad but making an arse of it? Sure he says the lad has got better skills and skill is what wins fights when the other lad says he's strong. Then says he isn't stronger than him, but his better skills won him the fight?

Which absolute moron would schedule a Boxing event during a World Cup? Boxing is effectively on a hiatus from late November until January because of World events.

I felt sorry for AJ tonight despite my dislike of him, he's been surrounded by commercial leeches who convinced him he's the top 2 in the world. The comparisons Sky made comparing Usyk to Charles Martin was beyond a disgrace and exactly why everything's gone badly wrong. He's possibly not even top 5 - The likes of Hunter, Wallin etc would give him problems. And reality has literally smacked him in the face. Hearn, Garcia, DAZN, the lot of em all parasites and should be responsible for tonight's events.
And not a single one of them offered to emotionally support him during his mental breakdown, just stood and watched.
Spot on this.

Works every time though. He gets into people's heads all the time. After the meltdown last night I honestly think he's messed up Joshua's head at times.

It gets people talking about him

Very much doubt it phased either man in the ring last night that Fury had retired again or had posted some bullshit on Twitter.

AJ has fucked his own brain by allowing himself to be carefully managed to the media when it's clearly not who he feels he is. It's been slowly showing over the past few years.

Proper shame that like, just watched it back sober, round 1 of the 2nd fight was round 13 rather than being anything new and different !

8 month with a new trainer to end up with a tighter, higher guard and nothing much more, as i though he didnt have the confidence and trust in himself to trade in the pocket and try and get him out, jabbed to the head in a preventative manner rather than a hurting/disruptive way and i’d maybe give him 3,5 and 9 meaning in 24 rounds he’s won at best 6 !!

Aslong as Usyks active he aint gonna be champion and his actions after the fight were both disgraceful and respective at different times ! Proper strange

Still reckon Usyk beats Fury

As a side note i nearly missed the fight cause my 6 year old fell of a zip line and fractured both bones in his forearm ! Had most of the night in a n e but he’s casted and handling it well ‘

Think Fury would batter the shit out of Usyk. His movement would be an issue for a bit but imagine Usyk taking those body shots Fury gives on the inside every time they got close

I can’t for the life of me see AJ fighting Wilder or Fury, he wouldn’t do it when they were the biggest fights in boxing. He’s known all along that he’s not at the same level has them two and avoided them, he underestimated Usyk and got schooled for 24 rounds, he thought he could do to him what he did to Parker but he couldn’t, he doesn’t underestimate the other two, he knows he’d be knocked out.

The fight was there to be won, I felt AJ had to be prepared to go through a shot to win it…Usyk was exposed, but AJ wary of what could come back if he moved forward.

A shame really, I hoped he would be willing to put it on the line but it just never really felt like it.

If Wilder can land so devastatingly on Fury it’s almost certain he would find AJ, and that would be it
