It is but it can be done. They should set their level at Rainton Meadows where you'll fill it and get a class atmosphere. A few good fights there and you can move the fanbase up to the Arena.

As said, they have the fighters here, forget the football shit and just promote it as NE lads and lasses trying to do the full region well.

Fair enough if you get a Ritson who can attract a big crowd but he was abandoned almost as soon as he lost so going for that crowd has its problems as they are fickle as fuck.

People want a good entertaining night out. What was out on tonight is a boring as fuck shitfeat that will turn punters away.

Looked very promising 2 year ago the north east boxing scene with Ritson and Kelly heading it up but both have lost they’re way and are back on the small hall shows.

Bad promotion or both went a level too far and couldn’t win a European title

Hopefully Marshall keeps flying the flag for the region
