Latest boxing crack

Joyce shouldnt get much praise for beating Hammer in that state jesus

Thought he was much less stiff than previously which is a credit to him adapting.
Regardless took some decent punches.
This was a ring rust fight and he did what he had to do.
I thought he looked decent and is really the only contender at present with a chance of taking a belt.

Joyce really needs to get a move on. Parker would have been an ideal step up as he needs to be fighting at fringe world level if he's going to do anything before he gets too old.

I think Wilder and AJ would absolutely savage Joyce

Interesting - I think he beats then both by virtue of his chin and engine

He's tough, no doubt about it. But he got caught with plenty of overhand rights last night by a fat unimpressive fighter, I think Wilder would KO him and AJ would outbox/KO him.

At nearly 37 there's only so far I'd fancy him to go with the way he fights. That said, maybe he's got some Foreman-esque punch resistance, but can't see him winning a proper world title off any of the recent top 4 guys.

Just caught up with the Savannah Marshall press conference. Marshall already has Shields absolutely rattled.
I’m loving that like. Actually can’t wait really enjoying Savannah’s crack and great to see a woman boxer who can genuinely spark people.

I’d love to see wilder v Joyce. Fuck me !! Could be epic.

Btw id have my max bet on Joyce beating aj, all night long. Too fit, too strong, one of the best chins in boxing and relentless, I’d reckon he would grind him down and stops a gasping for air/panicked Joshua rds 8/10.

Difference in levels that AJ and Joyce have operated at not to be underestimated imo. He's got a great chin and keeps coming forward but I don't think he could sustain the damage from one of the top operators, he's just far too open and the levels would show imo.

Basically 37 and when looking for a best win, there's not much. Still very much seen as waiting to step up to the top levels. I appreciate his last fight he got fucked around by Parker and it would've been that step up, however.

I wouldn't disagree what you've said, but I would back him to beat Joshua. AJ can't fight under consent pressure IMO

But we aren't even sure if Joyce can fight like that against a decent opponent nevermind top 3. I think to beat AJ as a pressure fighter you need to have a bit of an unpredictability in the style, wouldn't particularly say he has that either.

Think his best chance has been outlined by others, use his good chin and jab and pressure him until late on. I just think he'd take too many bombs to make it to those late rounds.
