Latest boxing crack

See it's Eubank jr v Williams this weekend. They don't seem besties it's fair to say. I'm probs in a minority but I quite like Eubank jr, seems decent crack from what I've seen of him (I know nowt about the other lad). Who are people fancying for it?

Don't know much about Williams tbh. Eubank really needs to get moving though, or his potential is going to end up wasted.

Eubank hasn't looked great in his last few fights since he started training with Roy Jones but I reckon he should win this relatively comfortably. Williams has looked great at British level but seems to have been found wanting on the 3 occasions he's stepped up in competition, think he comes across as a bit of a bully in the ring who doesn't react well when opponents have the gall to hit him back.

He's got the right hump for this one like. Hoping for a Eubank win anyway.

He's 32, unless i'm missing an "in" joke I fail to see what potential could possibly manifest as "the next gen" moves into the twilight of a career which has flattered to deceive.

Just watched Gloves are off. Would love to see Williams win.

They look fucked. The UK market is going to have to rely on the rest of world market to keep it afloat.

Just isn't viable in the UK on its own with niche sports. Hearn looks like he's backed the wrong horse on this one.

Think he's underestimated just how much the sky PR machine brings to the table when it comes to fights and building up fighters

Looks like boxing has been left out of the 2028 Olympics along with weightlifting. Cant say I'm surprised.
Only initially, it can still make it yet as not all sports have been announced. Boxing needs to clean up its game but they can get fucked if they think I'll be watching Breakdancing and beat boxing at the Olympics opposed to boxing and weight lifting.

How so?

Funny, they were in my news feed today, in that they're thinking about buying BT Sports.

Potential deal with BT fell through.
I can't stand that bloke. Instantly dislikable

There's plenty I like about him (considering his occupation), but plenty that is dislikable as well. Doesn't have the same history of non-payment as another prominent UK promoter though, so I dislike him a bit less.
