He did well in non-league at Leyton Orient but has always struggled for consistency in league football. 7 goals in 75 at Colchester, less than 1 in 3 at Charlton but did well there on the whole, struggled at QPR again. No league promotion experience either - he joined Charlton after going up.

He's been on loan at Ipswich so they must see something from him.

No promotion experience, just like Lee Johnson then.

I never said that and you ignored the most important part. Under the circumstances with covid-19 and the uncertainty over the upcoming season, it meant that a lot of plans had to go out of the window. The club had to be reactive in the market and did its best. Armchair experts with the benefit of hindsight who were demanding Marcus Maddison always know best.

Did its best, Danny Graham and Aiden O'Brien. Both grade A undiluted shite. Without doubt they represent the worst summer transfer business in living memory for safc. We would have been better of signing nobody than be lumbered with another Plank that contributes fuck all and is on massive wages.

Not sure what you expect the club to have done about players under contract, other than let other clubs know we wouldn't turn down an offer. And not all should be sold, either.
