Am I correct in thinking Bonne did really well at a lower level and is still only 25 years old?Did I dream we signed Rekeem Harper, Wes Burns and Lee Evans then? Blimey.
Macauley Bonne was playing in the Championship for QPR as well. Not often as a starter either.

He's been on loan at Ipswich so they must see something from him.He did well in non-league at Leyton Orient but has always struggled for consistency in league football. 7 goals in 75 at Colchester, less than 1 in 3 at Charlton but did well there on the whole, struggled at QPR again. No league promotion experience either - he joined Charlton after going up.

Pretty sure he was happy when we signed Graham as wellHappy with last summer's business apparently, rock solid evidence were any needed to ignore his ramblings.
Not only was he happy with Graham and AOB at the time he still is in hindsight. What the absolute fuck man.Pretty sure he was happy when we signed Graham as well![]()
Windup or a mag.Not only was he happy with Graham and AOB at the time he still is in hindsight. What the absolute fuck man.
The club won't rush into signing players just for the sake of it. It's important to remember that a lot of players and agents are still on holiday as well.
The club will be patient and take time to identify only the right players who can take us forward, and the standard has been raised again. There are going to be a lot of happy faces when the season starts.
Possibly both. Only logical conclusion in the face of such mind-blowing nonsense.Windup or a mag.

I never said that and you ignored the most important part. Under the circumstances with covid-19 and the uncertainty over the upcoming season, it meant that a lot of plans had to go out of the window. The club had to be reactive in the market and did its best. Armchair experts with the benefit of hindsight who were demanding Marcus Maddison always know best.
Did its best, Danny Graham and Aiden O'Brien. Both grade A undiluted shite. Without doubt they represent the worst summer transfer business in living memory for safc. We would have been better of signing nobody than be lumbered with another Plank that contributes fuck all and is on massive wages.
Current sitrep -
4 players offered new terms - non signed
New players signed - none
Squad still includes Grigg, AOB, Dobson, Flanagan, Wright, Burge, Winchester - Yes
Summerbee states we will all be smiling come the start of the season - yes
Data driven approach - yes but building our own with cornflake boxes and a zx spectrum
Concerned - very

Not sure what you expect the club to have done about players under contract, other than let other clubs know we wouldn't turn down an offer. And not all should be sold, either.
You're being a bit of a drama queen there. Let's revisit in a fortnight.
Think the point was you can't sell a player if nobody wants to sign themAll should be sold if we can do better.
Will do.
