Would Wroclaw be decent for a small group (4-6) of sensible blokes to go for the 40ths?
Wow!!!!Probably the worst city I've been to, Prague, Budapest and Ljubljana are far superior for that area.
Definitely a niche market, auschwitz then off to the strippers in the same dayThis has got to be a new low, recommending Auschwitz and Birkenau for a stag do. JESUS CHRIST.
Probably never left the squareProbably the worst city I've been to, Prague, Budapest and Ljubljana are far superior for that area.
A most underrated city, it's only a matter of time before people click on to it and it's cheap as chips.Definitely.
There a great area by the main railway station (c. 25 bars/cafes under the railway arches) which is very lively.
A couple of beautiful old market squares with good places to eat.
If you're into architecture, for a rest from the booze, there is the Cathedral area with some superb old buildings. Go up the Cathedral Tower to get a brilliant view of the City.
Thought Wroclaw was more impressive than Krakow, Poznan & Lodz...
Went everywhere fella, shoite compared to the other 3.Get out your bubble and explore.Probably never left the square
The bars with stag doos just seemed to be one small location , about 4 or 5 bars next to each other, just off one of the corners of the main square .
Gone are days of it being full of stag doos IMO anyway , more of place for couples or small groups.
Great city mind
For groups of lads old town Düsseldorf takes some beating
It's on the same side as the old town isn't it?The best area in Krakow is Kazimierz, the old Jewish quarter on the other side of the river from the old town. Packed full of dimly lit small cafes, bars and restaurants

Aye it is , we went one day , nice area with quirky cafes n barsIt's on the same side as the old town isn't it?
maybe you're thinking of the jewish ghetto, which is on the other side of the river?Just had a look on a map, and yes it is. Could have sworn it was on the other side.

it's easy done over there mate!Yes, that's it. I knew I crossed a river to get to Schindler's factory. Must have mixed the rest of the day up with copious amounts of beer and vodka on a random bar crawl.
That sounds like the senior chaps took themselves off for a quiet day while the young bucks partiedThe groom’s father in law and mates he’d brought did it one day on the stag I went on. As long as people don’t go still pissed and are respectful what’s the problem?
Was in Krakow two weeks ago, brilliant city but struggling to see where it would be suitable for a stag do and I've been twice and know the main areas. As someone said, ideal for couples or small groups.
Jewish quarter is good, some great restaurants.
Did you go to the Bull pub by any chance?Probably the worst city I've been to, Prague, Budapest and Ljubljana are far superior for that area.
Podgorze on the other side of the river is canny too.Just had a look on a map, and yes it is. Could have sworn it was on the other side.
Lodz is class but really just one long street of bars - pretty much like Ostrava in cz although the regeneration work in Lodz is very goodDefinitely.
