kante off to chelski

According to Paddy Power Napoli and Sevilla are also ranked higher. Leicester are equal with Bayer Leverkusen at 66/1

I always go by Betfair, it's a truer reflection.

Let me put this as simply as I can - as it should be obvious, but apparently isn't - you are nowhere near as good as any of those teams you've mentioned - (the Champions League will prove this to you in 3 simple games). You never will be.
Well done on winning the league - it won't happen again in your lifetime.

Not if the likes of Kante are leaving, he's irreplaceable to the Leicester way IMHO

Would have liked to have seen what happened had they kept the side together though, they bloodied enough noses of the big boys in the Prem last season, why not a few of Europes as well.

Mind, I'm not saying they would win it or get to the final phases or owt, but then again, what do I know, I laughed like Eddie Waring when someone, possibly @Leicester Fan actually, said they would be in the Champs League within a couple of seasons.

Triple his wages? He was offered over £100k a week at Leicester.
Better facilities? When Ranieri first seen Leicester's facilities he said that ours was better than anything in Italy.

He could have stayed one more year and be no better off financially as Leicester offered him the same money he'll get at Chelsea.

He's never played in Europe in his career and won't next season either. Leicester could offer him Champions League football and we're in Pot 1 as well. There's not much he could do at Chelsea next season that he hasn't done at Leicester apart from winning a domestic cup.
Look fella Leicester are a tiny club a big one has come along a signed one of your players shows how much Kante thought of pot f***ing 1

See Everton are reportedly wanting wonder scout Walsh too:lol:

But Leicester were the best side in the league comfortably last season? Why are they suddenly aiming for top 10? Fuck all this star power at the other sides shite.

Because they have closed minds and can't think outside what they perceive to be normal.

People on here were telling me Leicester should take the money and run and cash in on all our big players. Woe betide a club like Leicester should even dare to think above their station.

Chelsea are expected to be there or thereabouts for every cup and honour every season, not just (possibly) 1. He has gone to a club where he thinks he will win, or be in with a very good chance, of winning things every year.

Sad, but true. This is why the smaller teams find it hard, players jump ship as soon as they can to these "bigger" teams and end up f***ing up any building process the smaller ones have. We are basically feeder teams. We find a player and they take him for daft money which we use to find another, and then they take them too. Repeat until we buy some shite that are no good and they have gotten stronger whilst we are weakened.

Would love to see some players stick with teams, but they are shallow twats and they dont/wont.

Really coming off the back of a euro year it's a good opportunity for Leicester to solidify in the top 4. A lot of changes at the other teams and players coming back late into pre season. Leicester haven't been that badly effected by it (Kante/Vardy/Fuchs aside) so it's the perfect opportunity.

Man City will win the league but it's fair game after that imo.

Fuck the traditional big clubs thinking they can buy their spots every season, it's a piss take, as is FFP).

Mock all you like but out of all the top leagues in Europe only PSG dominated their league more than Leicester did the Premier League.

It can't be discounted that there is a possibility we were/are one of the best sides in Europe. Not Barcelona, Real Madrid or Bayern level but potentially one of the best sides outside the big three.

I agree, if you win the Premier League then you are by default one of the best teams in the world.

But the problem is that some players will think this is a one off season and it is hard to s

I've read that he's on £115k a week at Chelsea, Leicester offered him £100k. I'm sure Leicester would have matched that if the extra £15k a week was the deciding factor.

He's a total shit for jumping ship after one year. Whose to say Leicester wouldn't be more successful than Chelsea this coming season? Is it totally inconceivable we could be? We won the league by 10pts and have Champions League football, something Kante has never played.

Leicester have arguably more to offer than Chelsea do for at least this one season at least. He's totally shit on his colleagues, club and fans leaving at the first opportunity. If we get knocked out the Champions League and are 10th in January then fine if you want to move on but doing it this way is bullshit.

As for Kante I can understand the rage, but anyone neutral can understand why he leaves. Chelsea is a much bigger club and far more likely to win things. You're Leicester man. I'd even understand if he left for Everton.

Tottenham were better imo

Chelsea have more chance of winning the league next year than Leicester

Spurs played the better football but Leicester did take 4 points off them.

Yeah Chelsea have more chance purely because they have less games. It'll take time to adopt their new system especially when the players won't be back in training yet.

Shit bait....

Villa taking the piss? Oh dear....

I don't even think Tottenham played better football, Leicester were much better than everyone last year.

Haway Leicester effectively sat there in defence smashing the ball forward on the half turn, Simple and effective. Spurs had really good interchange play. Arsenal were probably better actually, but blew it.

They did but I don't care about style of play as long as you win, and whoever as the most points at the end of the season is the better team.

They played some lovely football but they finished third in a two horse race. When it mattered they absolutely bottled it, every time they got close their arses went. Winning the possession stats doesn't make you the best team in the league when you're mentally brittle, they lost by 11pts FFS.

Absolutely no question who the best team in the league was last season unless you want to watch the highlight reel of Tottenham and solely judge them on that.

It takes more than some nice passes to win a league title.

Many "experts" were saying when it becomes reality our arses will go but we W8 D4 L0 of our last 12 games. Only Alex Ferguson went against the tide and proclaimed we'd win it with three games to spare in February because we "were far and away the best team in the league".
