for 30 million quid. one season wonder imo
Deschamps and Vernon have played and coached at the very highest level.
You think either would pick/buy player that wasn't fit for purpose given the choice at their disposal.
Ridiculous comment

Mock all you like but out of all the top leagues in Europe only PSG dominated their league more than Leicester did the Premier League.

It can't be discounted that there is a possibility we were/are one of the best sides in Europe. Not Barcelona, Real Madrid or Bayern level but potentially one of the best sides outside the big three.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Wish him all the best?

We've won the PL title by 10pts, Pot 1 Champions League and he's left to a team who aren't even in Europe next season.

He should have given us one more year to see if we're one of the best teams in Europe or were we one season wonders?

I hope he falls flat on his arse.

Spoken like a true football fan

For what it's worth I think he will be a moderate success, a player like Kante will always be better in backs to the wall, all hands to the pump type of team, which for the majority of the time Chelsea aren't.

Same as he started for France but then dropped when they were dominating the game but not creating chances.

You can laugh all you like at that statement but people have been writing Leicester off for the last 16 months and you've all been proved spectacularly wrong time and time again.

We've just won the PL title by 10pts and the only foreign teams in the betting rated higher than Leicester for this season's Champions League are:

Barcelona
Bayern Munich
Real Madrid
Atletico Madrid
PSG
Juventus
Borussia Dortmund

Some of you haven't got the imagination and open mindedness to think outside what you think the order should be and you still won't open your minds that your preconceived opinion may be wrong despite the continuing evidence.

According to Paddy Power Napoli and Sevilla are also ranked higher. Leicester are equal with Bayer Leverkusen at 66/1

Let me put this as simply as I can - as it should be obvious, but apparently isn't - you are nowhere near as good as any of those teams you've mentioned - (the Champions League will prove this to you in 3 simple games). You never will be.
Well done on winning the league - it won't happen again in your lifetime.

I agree, he's an average PL midfielder on the ball but when we haven't got the ball he's the best midfielder in the world IMO. We are a side who have possession similar to relegated sides, we were 18th in the possession stats last season. He was given license to burst forward and run with the ball at Leicester as we broke at breakneck speed. His game suited our style of play to a tee.

I suspect at Chelsea, like France, he'll be asked to sit in front of the back four and hold his position and give it to Fabregas, Willian or Oscar as soon as he gets the ball and although still be good he won't be as effective as he was at Leicester.

Because this could be the start of great things for the club. We could possibly go deep in the Champions League and top four in the Premier League then all of a sudden we aren't little old lucky Leicester but a big club who compete at the top level.

We're either going to extend our stadium to 47,000 next season or build a 60,000 stadium. We're the 13th biggest club in the world on turnover this season. This could be the start of something special and he's the first one to jump ship rather than see where this story ends.

He's even gone to a team not in Europe next season, it would be more understandable if he went Real Madrid but Chelsea is a kick in the teeth although I fully accept they're a much bigger club than us. Why not one more year Kante?

He's not a fan. Sadly you've got to look at it from a players point of view. Move to an established big club,at least triple wages, train in better facilities etc.

Doubt Leicester will win the league again but then I didn't think they'd do it the first time. Would have been good to see that set of players stay together for one more season to see how they got on, shame kante looks to be off. Can't blame the Leicester lad for being confident like

I read plenty of those posts in October, November, December, January, etc.

It's nothing new to me.

In December we wouldn't finish top ten and in February we wouldn't get Champions League and in April we would let nerves get the better of us and blow the title.

Keep them coming because sooner or later you're bound to get one right.

There is a huge difference between playing amazingly for one season and being steeped in rich history and success.

Will see how good Ranieri is this season when he has to replace these players. Never rated him myself so last season was even more spectacular to me.

Will Kante still be getting his injections at Chelsea?

Triple his wages? He was offered over £100k a week at Leicester.
Better facilities? When Ranieri first seen Leicester's facilities he said that ours was better than anything in Italy.

He could have stayed one more year and be no better off financially as Leicester offered him the same money he'll get at Chelsea.

He's never played in Europe in his career and won't next season either. Leicester could offer him Champions League football and we're in Pot 1 as well. There's not much he could do at Chelsea next season that he hasn't done at Leicester apart from winning a domestic cup.

I agree with you here. Seems a strange move to go to Chelsea especially when the rest of the squad are staying together.

Will be disappointed if he goes as it would have been good to see Leicesters style in Europe. Think they'd surprise people who are just desperate to write Leicester off (no idea why)

Aye and no doubt Chelsea will offer him closer to 200k

He can leave and try to win the league again.

Or he can stay to try and finish top 10.

No brainer.

But Leicester were the best side in the league comfortably last season? Why are they suddenly aiming for top 10? Fuck all this star power at the other sides shite.
