It's a self fulfilling prophecy when the best players of a team that won the title feel they can be more successful so they move to the same old clubs.

We get weaker and they get stronger and normal service gets resumed.
"I am so happy to have signed for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It’s a dream come true for me,” Kanté said. “The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down."

Possibly. Also depending on Leicester fair this season and next the cloughie / forest comparisons can be viewed in a better context.
Kanye has will be replaced with the burnley fella so I have heard, might be better...

Don't get me wrong for all I'm pleased Leicester have lost him, but it's also a bit shite how it goes to show you can even win the league and if you're not a traditional top 4 team you'll still lose your best players.

It's shit. I was probably naive in hoping that we'd keep our best players, replace our weaker players like Simpson and Okazaki with players good enough for other top sides and get stronger and hopefully stay in the higher echelons and progress to becoming a top club now we have our foot in the door.

The reality is your top players see this as a chance for a good career move and being with a side that almost guarantees to fight for the top four and dump you ASAP.

Like I say I'm too bothered if the club have a bad season but I do have to feel sorry for some of the fans. You just simply can't do better than winning the best league in the world and yet it's still not enough to keep your best players. I'm pretty confident Bardy would have also gone had he not been a canny age for a footballer.
