jesus the guy is in the England squad and has won everything in club football.
Can't believe some idiots on here wouldn't want him back.
Utterly baffling this place sometimes

A quick search for Henderson in thread title hoyed up these thread from when he left Liverpool. I haven't read them all page for page but the 1st page is enough to get a feel of the threads.
The comments and likes of those comments in this 1st thread, especially post #10 saying "
So disappointing , I/we were all big fans of his as well . Fuck him now , wouldn’t want him associated with our club ever again." implies exactly that. As I've said, it's strange how views about change when it's a benefit to a club but that's football bias for you
There was a prediction he'd be here by late 2024, early 2025 and look at posts #4 & #7 in comparison to post #11
Will be back in a SAFC shirt before late 2024, early 2025

I see many now saying he made a mistake but even when he wanted to leave it was more negative towards him than coming here

Henderson an unused sub for Ajax yesterday, not sure if he was on the bench due to poor form or carrying a knock. Do you think he would consider a player / coach role here?

Did he really make a mistake as in he thought about his morals he'd left at Liverpool and said "Oops I've upset a lot of people so I'll leave Saudi"?
Or was it that it was shite and he didn't like it, just like other players have found out when they went out there? From October to December I see his team only won once in last 13 games (he played in 12) and come January the story broke he wanted away.
He also had his young family to consider with bairns aged 3, 8 and 9. I'm sure by then a multi millionaire would be thinking this is shite and it's not as if he couldn't quit as he'd be out on the streets penniless. He could still get millions from a club like Ajax (supposedly got a £1.2m signing on fee anarl).
Long story short, it isn't baffling why some still wouldn't want him back when you look at it without the club bias. As I said if this was a mag, imagine if it was Shearer who'd done all the LGBTQ etc stuff, saying he wanted to grow football in Saudi and then did the Saudi World Cup video, then would people really still be saying "But he made a mistake"? I think we all know the answer to that
