Jordan Henderson (signed for Brentford)

Disagree. He's done a good job at Ajax this season and almost won the title. Yes the standard of the Eredivisie is probably lower half of the Premiership but just staying up next season would be a result. His experience would be brilliant to the players around him.
A fairy tale ending to his career anarl.

Too much sentiment for me, which rarely pays off.

Think injuries had already taken their toll on him when he left Liverpool a few year back. I just don't think he'd be able to handle the pace and power of the the Premier League and we'll already be on the backfoot in most games as it is.

I would get him back on a one year deal personally.

This and he is exactly what we need.

Leadership, nous and experience and given how well he has looked after himself at least a couple of years left
Fully agree tbh...would keep on top of refs/officials and not let us get bullied or overawed in games, definitely need some PL nous and experience in the middle of the park to help the whole team to adjust, bit of a no brainer for me.

Even just to play a part off the field and in the dressing room...he would be an absolute Godsend for Chris Rigg.

He was called up to Tuchel’s most recent England squad like!

I don’t think anyone is suggesting he would play every minute of every game either.

I'd have him back here In a heartbeat and If It happens he should be club captain

I don't see him getting much action in the England squad tbh. Tuchel may want a closer look at him more in terms of a backroom role than anything else.

Loved the lad when he was here, and what an outstanding career he's had since, but the best part of his game was his work rate and his drive to put the hard yards in, that's sadly diminished over the last few years, but to be expected at his age.

It's up to the club to bring him in or not, and everyone's got an opinion on it, but at 35 and the money he'd command, I'd be looking at someone much younger who can do the things that Henderson was so good at back in his Liverpool days.
