Jordan Henderson (signed for Brentford)

personally, I reckon we get Henderson, Jonny Evans and Danny Welbeck in for experience and leadership and because they get it up here - they won't play every minute - they may not always be physically up to the rigours, but I doubt any of them will fail us completely and they can bring on our young players a lot - none of them should cost much or ask for very long contracts

As a squad player who has great experience and obviously gets the club it might make sense. But we can’t be guaranteeing him football and we certainly mustn’t sign him on a long term deal for silly wages. If he loves the club and genuinely wants to come back then he’ll accept the right weekly wage (which will be a large drop from what he’s on now).

I don't think we will sign many players at all that people on here would regard as a proven PL player. We won't pay the money they'd cost in fee or wages imo.

Our bigger money signings will come from abroad with the hope they can have the same impact over here as in the bundesliga or ligue 1.

Aye. Henderson is one of the few we would consider

People seem to still not have worked out how we do business looking at some of the posts

Worth noting that Henderson is a premier league as European cup winning captain

He could still play but not as oftern, mre of a super sub. Im sure he would be interested in coming in playing occasionally and doing his badges. he would be ideal for the academy.

His love for the club and our need for experience, could that be the reunion we need? (He was over the moon in the ground today)
I say yes he would not be coming here for a pay check retirement check he also loves the club. Could really help younger players & He wants to make the England team in US WC
