He’s such a good pro that his influence can only be positive
Has he still got it? Tuchel seems to think so like.
I wonder if he would actually fancy it though?

It's a no from me.
The kind of short term thinking that got us into trouble the last time we were in the Premier League.
He has wanted to come back since Liverpool mate, obviously the money over Saudi turned his head aswel. I would take him in a heartbeat. His experience would be invaluable and the standards he would set around the club on and off the pitch.Im torn

...exactly what I have just posted aswelyeah signing a premier league and champions league winning captain who is still a current english international is a bad thing. his experience on and off the pitch would be vital

It's your opinion mateYou’re right about the standards like, aye I’m probably overthinking it. Probs is a no brainer.
Yep was mint that
Fuckin loved how much ex safc were there, actually really added to how special it was.
It's your opinion matejust think we are gonna struggle to get 10 points if we don't add experience in a couple of places.
Aye. The Hamer that won Championship player of the season, got 10 goals and 8 assists. Aye, him.Not the Hamer who was fucked after 60 minutes.
We’ve already got a knacker in Poveda with same physique
yeah signing a premier league and champions league winning captain who is still a current english international is a bad thing. his experience on and off the pitch would be vital
Let's get Quinny back thenyes from me loves the club and when times get tough in the prem, his experience would be extremely valuable.
He could comfortably afford to play for nowt if it meant that much to him., having sold his soul to the awabsHe's 35 Yrs old. He wouldn't be able to hack it in the Premier League now man. And what's the point of giving him what would be a shit load of money in wages just to give half time team talks? I'm sure there's better options available to us. Bringing players back rarely works.
Tuchel thinks Dan Burn is an international centre halfIf he’s good enough for Tuchel and England he’s good enough for us! His experience and leadership could be the difference.
I don't think we will sign many players at all that people on here would regard as a proven PL player. We won't pay the money they'd cost in fee or wages imo.Jesus. Not again with going back in for ex players who are well past their prime. This shouldn't be us dicking about with ex players, it should be the next phase of the programme, putting proper PL quality into the team to help us stay up. He'd just be another expensive player that can't cut it in the top flight - there's a reason nobody else has signed him.
It's like most people on this thread only found out about Safc two weeks ago.Second comings rarely work out.
Eh. His England re-selection was the most mental thing to have done, and he'll bring nowt to England if he plays.yeah signing a premier league and champions league winning captain who is still a current english international is a bad thing. his experience on and off the pitch would be vital
